The soundtrack for the documentary film DEAD GIRL WALKING was written, recorded and published by Marcy Brenner & Lou Castro (MRB Publishing LLC ascap).  Marcy is the subject of this film produced by filmmaker Ray Schmitt of Real Earth Productions.

Marcy and Lou are featured musicians in the Nicholas Sparks movie “Nights In Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane.  They are included in the CD soundtrack released in company with Emmylou Harris, Count Basie, Dinah Washington and The Dillards.

COYOTE are Marcy Brenner and Lou Castro. They write and perform songs that draw you in to their enchanting island life and extraordinary community of 1000 friends and neighbors. Their stories spark from their salty life on Ocracoke, 20 miles off-shore of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

You are invited literally into their living room for home made, lightening storm hot music; unexpected, honest, masterful, heartfelt, authentic. Throw a rock at a genre and you will hear it, with a Coyote twist, often with a special guest. No matter what, you'll be enchanted by the inevitable magic of an evening with Coyote, and whoever is playing with them.

If life is about creating experiences, Marcy and Lou are truly alive, making music together, and with neighbors and visiting friends.  They share the love of family and community that is so important to everyone in this coastal town.
