1,500-seat CAROLINA THEATER in Durham, NC.  Lou will be playing slide guitar with the OCRACOKE ROCKERS this night for a private party.

FREE to the public, the festival begins with a "meet & greet" the artists potluck on Friday at 6:30pm with the popular auction (has been on Sat. or Sun. in years past) at 7:30pm
Saturday day -- music, stories and more all day!  Three Stages!!!
Saturday evening -- square dance in the gym at 8pm
Saturday night -- poetry reading at 9pm and 10pm-midnight, the Late Night Jam, all at the Deepwater Theater
Sunday -- 9:30am gospel sing with more music and stories through the afternoon!

We will conduct a workshop from 2pm-4pm for youth players and singers.  Students age 10 and above are invited to the workshop with the instrument they are learning to play, or their voice to sing.  The workshop is limited to 20 slots and the children are invited to perform with us later that evening.  The Children's Museum is promoting the event.  Parents are encouraged to observe the workshop and to attend the evening concert.

We will be interviewed on local radio (Saturday Light Brigade SLB 88.3 WRCT-FM with Larry Berger at 10:30 a.m. on April 8th and will share and perform a few songs!  More details as we get closer.  For more information:  Calliope: Pittsburgh Folk Music Society and the Children's Museum at www.pittsburghkids.org where the radio show is broadcasted.  How exciting!

The collection debuts eight original tracks and marks the first publication and broad release of their original material.
